Slash Happy Place Snowboard 2026

Slash Snowboards are the brainchild of the legendary Austrian snowboarder Gigi Rüf. Although it's not a huge range of boards, the boards that he creates are really good. We focus on two key models, the freestyle Happy Place and the all-mountain ATV.

This Slash Happy Place is a medium flex, true-twin snowboard that is suitable for any level of rider. If features a hybrid CamRock profile, that combines camber between the feet with flat zones underfoot with rockered tips. The result is a playful, easy-turning ride that’s stable, poppy, and super fun in the park.

Visible Carbonbon 'X' inserts at the nose and tail boost pop and responsiveness, giving the board a lively feel underfoot. With a true twin shape, a 4/10 flex rating, and a design that suits total beginners to solid intermediates, this board truly lives up to its name—it’s everyone’s Happy Place.

Tech:

• CamRock: CamRock combines a camber-loaded section between the feet with flat zones underfoot and rockered tips. The camber provides stability and edge control, the flat areas help generate powerful ollies, and the rockered tips add forgiveness and float. The result is a playful, responsive board that turns effortlessly and encourages creativity on the mountain.
• Carbonbon: Carbon fiber stringers placed in an 'X' pattern under the bindings inserts between the base and the core to enhance pop, responsiveness and torsional stiffness.
• Bi-Ax Fibreglass: Forgiving, easier to flex and providing a mellow response, Biax fiberglass is a two-way weave of fiberglass with strands running at 90-degrees.
• Pop Woodcore: Poplar wood strips, arranged internally to provide both a lightweight feel and a smooth flex. There are added beech hardwood stringers, tip to tail through the inserts for power transfer and added durability.
• Sintered 7500 Base: High grade Sintered base is fast, durable and requires less waxing.
• Progressive Sidecut: The progressive sidecut blends many radii and smooth contact points for buttery smooth turn initiation, edge-to-edge transition and edge hold.
• Impact Dampening: A vibration dampening rubber used between the steel edge and the sidewall. As well as dampening vibrations, it also acts as an adhesion layer between the edge and sidewall to prevent the possibility of delamination.
• Factory Waxed: All Slash boards are factory waxed with high quality OneBallJay wax and are ready to shred straight out of the wrapper.
• Tip Protectors: Thin, light and surprisingly strong aluminum protectors that cap the base and edge at the tip and tail to protect the board from impacts.
• Steel Edges:Slash boards are built with 35% more steel content than the average snowboard, making them strong and resilient to dings and dents.
• Kick Stand:This original board outline shape saves material and weight and also stands up without tipping over like rounded boards do!
• Belt Finish:The belt finish gets your base optimized before it’s fully waxed.
