Servicing by Sophie
If you want to get the most out of your snowboard then you want to make sure you keep it in tip top condition! We offer in-house servicing here at The Snowboard Shop which is all done by hand and with love by Sophie.
Sophie has been servicing for a number of years and has finessed her technique to ensure you get blistering fast speed from your snowboard and fantastic edge hold.
We use a high quality 'all-temp' wax, normally a Canadian Beaver Wax. If you'd rather use a different temperature wax then please ask for details when you drop your kit off.
We do not have any machines here, all snowboards (and skis) are 100% hand-serviced, so the finish is excellent.
You can bring your board / skis in at a time to suit you. Please check our Opening Times before you plan to visit us.
For convenience, we have a driveway to the left of the shop that you can use to save you from carrying your kit though town. If this is full, then there is some parking on Albert Street opposite or plenty more parking spots at the pay and display car park at the Oatsheaf Pub which is a two minute walk.
