Slash ATV Snowboard 2026

Slash Snowboards are a snowboard brand from Austrian pro rider Gigi Rüf. It's a tight range, but really well thought through. We tested the Slash range on the Kaunertal Glacier a little earlier in the year and we were stoked on how well they rode.

We focus on two key models, the all-mountain ATV and the freestyle focused Happy Place.

This Slash ATV is an all-mountain, medium flex, directional twin Snowboard, that is best suited to intermediate+ snowboarders who want one board to dominate the entire mountain.

This board features a traditional camber profile—the original shape trusted by riders for precise control, solid edge hold, and powerful pop. The camber distributes your weight evenly and delivers a progressive flex that feels natural and responsive. The Singular Sidecut adds to the predictability, giving intermediate to advanced riders a clean, confident carving experience.

Inside, the 'Fourever Woodcore' blends paulownia, spruce, beech, and poplar for a light yet durable core packed with energy. Buried Treasure tech layers carbon, Kevlar, and basalt fibers to add life, response, and pop without sacrificing torsional forgiveness—great for locking in those switch turns. Triax fiberglass enhances this build with multi-angled fiber placement for even more pop, stability, and reactivity under pressure.

The Sintered 7500 Base is super fast and durable, needing less waxing to stay in prime condition. It comes factory-waxed with premium OneBallJay wax, so you’re ready to shred straight from the wrapper. 3D Lift in the nose and tail lifts contact points off the snow for extra butterability, float in pow, and a catch-free feel. 

Tech:

• Camber: The original, tried and tested camber profile that gives a precise feel, predictable turns, super solid edge hold, and powerful pop. Traditional camber distributes weight evenly and offers a progressive flex pattern.
• Buried Treasure: A combination of carbon, Kevlar and basalt fibres, creating a lightweight, lively and responsive board, whilst at the same time leaving torsional softness between the feet so it's not super scary to ride and pretty easy to get those switch turns in.
• 3D Lift: 3D lift pulls the tip (and tail) of the board away from the snow. it provides more butterability and extra float, and a less 'catchy' feel.
• Tri-Ax Fibreglass: Triax fiberglass is the time-tested classic. It features a three-way weave of premium fibers with strands running at 45-degree angles. It provides superior pop, consistent torsional flex, and more overall response.
• Fourever Woodcore: A combination of four wood species: paulownia, spruce, beech and poplar, producing a premium highly tuned core that is flyweight, durable, filled with pop and highly reactive.
• Sintered 7500 Base: High grade Sintered base is fast, durable and requires less waxing.
• Singular Sidecut: A predictable and powerful sidecut with a single radius that makes for consistent turns. It’s ideal for intermediate and advanced riders who already know how to carve a turn, like to ride fast, and desire strong edge hold.
• Factory Waxed: All Slash boards are factory waxed with high quality OneBallJay wax and are ready to shred straight out of the wrapper.
• Steel Edges:Slash boards are built with 35% more steel content than the average snowboard, making them strong and resilient to dings and dents.
• Kick Stand:This original board outline shape saves material and weight and also stands up without tipping over like rounded boards do!
• Diamond Stone Finish:Diamond-structured stone grind to the base to maximise glide and optimize durability. It eliminates the slow, suction cup feel that comes with one-dimensional base finishes.
