A versatile all-mountain board engineered to excel across varied terrain from groomers and park laps to powder days. It features a Triple Camber Hybrid profile combined with R.I.P. Edge-Hold Technology, offering a powerful blend of edge grip, pop, float and playful forgiveness. With a directional twin shape, mid-flex rating and Vario Power Grip sidecut, it delivers responsive carving, smooth stability and adaptability for both beginners and experts.

Constructed on a resilient SuperLight wood core with carbon-reinforced Bi-Lite and STS fiberglass laminates, the Trooper balances snap and durability. The inclusion of Carbon VXR laminates extending from inserts to edges enhances torsional strength and energy transfer. Underfoot, triple-layer RDS‑2 damping with elastomeric stabilisers smooth out chatter and reduce fatigue at speed.

Additional features like a co-extruded polymer topsheet, UHMW sidewalls, P-Tex nose/tail protection, extended transition areas and a fast sintered 5501 base boost durability, float and performance.

Tech:

• Triple Camber Hybrid Profile: Triple Camber Hybrid is a game changing innovation. The centre rocker contains a third camber area creating two small high pressure rocker sections on either side. Along with R.I.P Edge Hold Technology it makes the most efficient use of your entire edge. The primary edge hold starts from the centre of the board. It’s insanely responsive and stable and aids the high performance engagement of the two outside camber areas located under your feet. The overall Hybrid rocker shape retains the effortless float, playful and forgiving feel, vice-like edge hold, rocket launching pop, and insane butterability.
• Directional Twin, 13mm Setback: This shape combines a twin profile with slightly set-back binding inserts to offer enhanced float in soft snow and better, more stable carving, while still allowing for easy switch riding.
• Flex - Mid-Stiff (6/10): Responsive and powerful with a freestyle mindset.
• NS SuperLight Wood Core: It utilises a custom, sustainably grown blend of Poplar and Paulownia with Birch that is strategically placed underneath the mounting inserts for a secure, solid connection. The core is then CNC-sanded to a fraction of a millimetre for precise flex and performance.
• Carbon VXR Laminate Technology: Extends carbon fibre V's out from the inserts to the effective edge for quick response while stiffening the board torsionally in that area. Originating from the binding mounting zones, Carbon V's engage the edge for quick response. Additionally, as the V's are positioned to the ends of the board they provide maximum boost and pop when loaded up.
• STS Pre-tensioned Fibreglass: An advanced pre-hardened, pre-tensioned, layered laminate that has added elastomer stringers. This produces a stronger bond between the individual glass laminates giving NS snowboards unmatched strength, edge hold and performance.
• Bi-Lite Fibreglass: Combines many of the strength characteristics of the STS fibreglass with an ultra light glass fibre matrix. This delivers incredible freestyle and freeride performance without sacrificing durability.
  
• Vario Power Grip Sidecut: Utilises multiple radiuses creating extra contact points to enhance edge hold. 
  
• RDS² Dampening: The perfect balance of freeride stability and freestyle liveliness. A more substantial system than a freestyle board to stabilse at higher speeds but a little less dampening than in a freeride board for leaving the snow. An ideal combination of vibration absorption and energetic feel.
  
• R.I.P. Edge Hold Tech: Amplifies edge performance, guaranteeing maximum stability and control in any condition while allowing for easy edge tunes. Instead of the traditional 'grabby' wavy edges that drag through the snow, this technology integrates waves into the board’s profile on the base plane, creating multiple high pressure points while allowing for smooth glide without drag.
• Durasurf XT Sintered 5501 Base: An exclusive, super fast, durable sintered base specifically for NS boards. Just the right amount of graphite has been added making the it one of the fastest and certainly the most durable P-Tex bases on the market.
• Early Rise Float Mechanics: This front end rise and float design gives a board incredible lift in powder, slush and heavier snow conditions. This also provides very smooth turn initiation compared to a traditional steeper kick transition that tends to plow or push snow when engaging a turn.
• P-tex Nose/Tail Protection: Places UHMW or Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene out to the ends of the board for incredible durability. This material protects these crucial ends of the boards from impact damage and will not crack or break. It not only absorbs impact but also a high amount of residual vibration, while sealing and protecting the wood core.
• Elastomeric Underfoot Stabilisers: Directly below the mounts, providing optimum vibration and shock absorption and increase high-speed stability. These underfoot stabilisers also add cushioning while reducing foot fatigue.

What size Never Summer Trooper should you buy?

The size of snowboard that you should buy is based upon lots of different factors. Two of the most important determining factors are rider weight and snowboard boot size. You can use the chart below to help you decide what size snowboard to buy.

We recommend that you select a 'wide' snowboard if your boots are UK10.5 or larger.

• 157cm = 68-90 kg / 150-200 lbs
• 158cm Wide = 68-90 kg / 150-200 lbs
• 160cm = 77-100+ kg / 170-220+ lbs
  
• 161cm Wide = 77-100+ kg / 170-220+ lbs

Snowboard Waist Width:

• 154cm = 25.5cm
• 158cm Wide = 26.3cm
• 160cm = 25.7cm
  
• 161cm Wide = 26.5cm
