The 2026 Never Summer Men’s Proto T3 FR is a high-performance freeride snowboard that fuses the best aspects of the fan-favorite Proto FR with new Prototype 3 tech, creating the brand’s most advanced board to date. Designed for aggressive all-mountain riders, it features Never Summer’s Triple Camber Hybrid profile, which integrates three camber zones and subtle rocker for explosive edge hold, powerful pop and smooth turn transitions. Its directional shape, ¾” setback and 5mm taper provide excellent float in powder and stability at speed, while the Front End Rise helps with easy turn initiation and added buoyancy in deeper snow.

Built around a lightweight yet powerful WooBoo wood core (wood and bamboo blend) and reinforced with Carbon Max Laminate Technology, the board is damp yet responsive, delivering strong energy transfer and snappy rebound. The Vario Power Grip sidecut enhances edge hold through a multi-radius design, while Traction Tech and Elastomeric Carbon Dampers (ECDS) help smooth out choppy terrain and reduce vibration. The STS Pre-tensioned fiberglass layup and Bi-Lite fiberglass add strength without unnecessary weight and the Durasurf Sintered 5501 base ensures durability and top-tier speed. Additionally, R.I.P. edge reinforcements improve grip and toughness on variable surfaces.

With a stiff flex, the Proto T3 FR balances control and response, making it ideal for steep terrain, carving and fast freeride lines, while still retaining a lively and playful feel when you want to press, slash, or pop off natural features.
