Totally redesigned for 2027, Burton [ak] has always been Burton's most premium and technical outerwear range and now it's been taken up a notch with some key enhancements that include an improved 'Rider Wrap Fit', which allows a better range of movement, updated softer and lighter shell fabrics, and pocket & venting relocation that is more rider friendly.

The Burton [ak] range of outerwear is super popular amongst the snowboarding community as it uses a GORE-TEX 2-layer recycled nylon fabric with PrimaLoft® Silver 60g insulation for exceptional waterproof, windproof and breathable protection without unnecessary bulk. It features a regular fit and body-mapped recycled taffeta lining to deliver lasting comfort and warmth from first chair to last run.

Designed with serious riders in mind, it features a StormForm Contour™ hood with Cohaesive™ adjustment, two-way front zip, articulated fit for unrestricted movement and ergonomic zip-out powder skirt with a jacket-to-pant interface. Zippered side vents provide rapid temperature control, while a RECCO® reflector adds an extra layer of safety for backcountry adventures and resort riding alike.

Thoughtful storage includes expandable chest pockets, hand-warmer pockets, sleeve and phone pockets, plus dedicated spaces for goggles, lift pass and other mountain essentials. Finished with bluesign® approved materials, this jacket is made using resource-efficient manufacturing processes and safer chemicals for a reduced environmental impact.
