Brand new for 2027, the Bataleon Stereo is built around the idea that progression drives everything in freestyle snowboarding. From new tricks to evolving features and constant product innovation, it reflects a mindset shared by riders like Ethan Morgan and Halldór Helgason, who have helped shape its direction from the start. The result is a board that’s designed not just to keep up with modern riding, but to actively push it forward—encouraging creativity, experimentation, and progression every time you strap in.

One of the biggest upgrades in the Stereo is to the sidewall which has been replaced with a new HyCap Construction. HyCap blends the precision and energy of full cap construction through the contact length with durable polyurethane sidewalls in the tip and tail. This combination delivers a lightweight, responsive feel underfoot while adding the durability needed to handle repeated impacts from rails, jumps, and heavy landings. It’s a construction that feels sharp and reactive when carving, yet tough enough to stand up to the demands of freestyle riding.

Designed to deliver a smooth, confidence-boosting ride with a strong freestyle edge, starting with Bataleon’s 3BT™ Shape with SideKick. By lifting the sidebases in the nose and tail while keeping the centre base flat, it dramatically reduces the chance of edge catches. The result is effortless turn initiation and a forgiving feel underfoot, without losing the lively response that keeps riding engaging across all terrain.

The true twin outline and twin contact shape, combined with a centred 0mm setback stance, make it perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail. This gives you a completely balanced feel, whether you’re riding regular or switch, making it ideal for park laps, spins, and creative riding. It feels consistent and predictable in every direction, helping you progress with confidence.

A medium flex (6/10) strikes a versatile balance between stability and playfulness. It’s firm enough not to buck you off at speed and also to cope easily with handle bigger landings, yet still forgiving enough for presses and butters. Paired with a medium camber profile, it offers solid edge hold and plenty of pop, allowing you to ride more aggressively while remaining manageable for everyday sessions.

Inside, the construction keeps things light, durable, and responsive. The biax fibreglass laminate gives the board a slightly looser, more playful feel, while the poplar and paulownia core balances strength with reduced weight. Carbon stringers and the central C.S.T SuperTube™ boost pop and enhance edge response without making the board overly stiff. Finished with a premium sintered ultra glide base, it’s built to be fast, tough, and ready to perform in any conditions.

Tech:

  • 3BT™ Shape with SideKick: Bataleon's unique board design features a 3D snowboard base design where the side sections of the nose and tail are uplifted, while the centre base remains flat. This design minimises the risk of edge catches and produces smooth turn initiation while maintaining a lively, responsive feel.
  • Twin Outline Shape, Twin Contact Shape, 0mm Setback: Perfectly symmetrical in every way, switch riding doesn't get easier.
  • Flex - Medium (6/10): Not too soft that it is flappy at speed and not too stiff that it's twitchy and scary.
  • HyCap Construction: The new HyCap Construction blends the best of both worlds: full cap construction through the contact length for energy and precision, with durable polyurethane sidewalls at the tip and tail for added impact resistance.
  • Medium Camber: Sitting in the sweet spot, the Stereo Team can be ridden more aggressively than lower cambered snowboards but it's not a mega-gnarly camber that you can't take out on a hangover.
  • Biax Laminate Glass: Biaxial two-way weave that is light, strong and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for creative riding.
  • Light Core: 2:2 Poplar/Paulownia blend to create a balanced core that’s both lively and strong.
  • C.S.T Core Upgrade: A single hollow carbon 'SuperTube™' cylinder has been inserted down the centre of the Stereo Team which enhances pop without adding torsional stiffness. Perfect for freestyle riding and jibbing.
  • Carbon Stringer Enhanced: Lightweight stringers that deliver explosive pop, quick edge response, and amazing dampening at high speeds.
  • Ultra Glide Sintered Base: Premium 7000-grade sintered base with great wax absorption that is equal parts tough as nails and fast as hell
  • Please Note - Base Colours May Swap (see image)
