Bataleon Stereo Snowboard 2027

The Bataleon Stereo is brand new for 2027 and is the Snowboard lovechild created by  Ethan Morgan & Halldór Helgason. With a true twin outline and twin contact shape, combined with a centred 0mm setback stance, the Stereo is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail. This makes switch riding feel completely natural and consistent, whether you’re lapping the park, jibbing, or riding creatively across the mountain. It’s designed to give you the same feel in both directions, making it ideal for freestyle progression.

The medium/soft flex (4/10) gives the Stereo a playful, press-friendly feel that excels at butters, presses, and jib-focused riding. It’s soft enough to be highly manoeuvrable at slower speeds, but still retains enough support to stay stable when you pick up speed. The medium camber profile adds a bit more pop and edge hold, allowing the board to be ridden more aggressively when needed without becoming too demanding.

Inside, the Stereo combines lightweight construction with durable, performance-driven materials. The biax fibreglass laminate keeps the ride snappy and playful without adding unnecessary stiffness, while the full poplar core reinforced with hardwood beech stringers strengthens the board’s backbone and boosts pop. Carbon stringers add extra response and help smooth out vibrations at speed, and HyCap construction blends cap-style energy and precision with durable polyurethane sidewalls in the tips and tails for added impact resistance. Finished with a HyperGlide sintered base, it delivers fast glide and long-lasting durability—especially when regularly waxed.

Tech:

• 3BT™ Shape with SideKick: Bataleon's unique board design features a 3D snowboard base design where the side sections of the nose and tail are uplifted, while the centre base remains flat. This design minimises the risk of edge catches and produces smooth turn initiation while maintaining a lively, responsive feel.
• Twin Outline Shape, Twin Contact Shape, 0mm Setback: Perfectly symmetrical in every way, switch riding doesn't get easier.
• Flex - Medium (4/10): Medium/Soft, playful snowboard that's great to press, butter & jib
• HyCap Construction: The new HyCap Construction blends the best of both worlds: full cap construction through the contact length for energy and precision, with durable polyurethane sidewalls at the tip and tail for added impact resistance. 
• Medium Camber: Sitting in the sweet spot, the Stereo can be ridden more aggressively than lower cambered snowboards but it's not a mega-gnarly camber that you can't take out on a hangover.
• Biax Laminate Glass: Biaxial two-way weave that is light, strong and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for creative riding.
• Core Core: Full poplar wood core with hardwood beech stringers to strengthen the board’s backbone, reinforce the inserts and increase pop.
• Carbon Stringer Enhanced: Lightweight stringers that deliver explosive pop, quick edge response, and amazing dampening at high speeds. 
• HyperGlide Sintered Base: Durable, fast and porous to was so make sure you give it a wax before you shred.

What size Bataleon Stereo should you buy?

The size of snowboard that you should buy is based upon lots of different factors. Two of the most important determining factors are rider weight and snowboard boot size. You can use the chart below to help you decide what size snowboard to buy. 

We recommend that you select a 'wide' snowboard if your boots are UK10.5 or larger.

Recommended Rider Weight:

• 154cm = 61-81 kg / 135-179 lbs
• 156cm = 65-85 kg / 144-188 lbs
• 158cm = 69-89 kg / 153-197 lbs
• 156cm Wide = 72-92 kg / 159-203 lbs

Snowboard Waist Width:

• 154cm = 25.3cm
• 156cm = 25.5cm
• 158cm = 25.7cm
• 156cm Wide = 26.5cm
