The Goliath has been our best selling snowboard for the last few years due to its versatility and do-everything attitude. It's a medium flex all-mountain snowboard perfect for intermediate and advanced riders who wants a board that is just as happy in the park as it is powering down groomers. 

Designed to blur the lines between freestyle playfulness and all-mountain performance, starting with its directional twin shape. At first glance it looks like a true twin, but a subtly longer nose gives it an edge in softer snow. With a centred 0mm setback stance, it rides just as comfortably switch as it does regular, making it perfect for park laps, side hits, and creative riding all over the mountain—while still holding its own when it’s time to chase fresh lines.

Underfoot, the medium flex (6/10) strikes a well-balanced feel that suits a wide range of riders. It’s stable enough to handle speed without feeling loose or unpredictable, yet forgiving enough to keep things fun and manageable when you’re not riding at full throttle. Combined with a medium camber profile, the board delivers a responsive, ride that can be pushed when you want it to, but won’t punish you when you’re taking it easy.

Construction-wise, the Goliath keeps things light, strong, and reactive. A triax fibreglass laminate provides a snappy, responsive feel, while the ultra light core—blending poplar and paulownia—offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio that keeps the board feeling agile underfoot. This combination gives you quick edge-to-edge transitions and a lively ride that responds instantly to input.

Performance is further boosted with carbon-enhanced tech throughout. Carbon stringers add explosive pop and sharpen edge response, while also helping to smooth out chatter when speeds pick up. The D.R.S.T core upgrade, featuring carbon Super-Tubes™ along the rails, channels energy directly to your edges for increased power and control, all while reducing weight. Rounding it out is a premium sintered ultra glide base that absorbs wax super well, making sure you can shred fast and charge in any conditions.

Tech:

• 3BT™ Shape with SideKick: Bataleon's unique board design features a 3D snowboard base design where the side sections of the nose and tail are uplifted, while the centre base remains flat. This design minimises the risk of edge catches and produces smooth turn initiation while maintaining a lively, responsive feel.
• Directional Twin Shape, 0mm Setback: To the untrained eye, a 'directional twin' looks basically the same as a true twin, but look closer and you will see the nose is 1cm longer than the tail. This makes for a snowboard that is just as happy lapping the park as it is tearing up the freshies with the first lift.
  
• Flex - Medium (6/10): Not too soft that it is flappy at speed and not too stiff that it's twitchy and scary. 
• Medium Camber: Sitting in the sweet spot, the Goliath can be ridden more aggressively than lower cambered snowboards but it's not a mega-gnarly camber that you can't take out on a hangover.
• Triax Laminate Glass: Three-way fibreglass weave which is light, strong and very responsive.
• Ultra Light Core: A 1:2 blend of Poplar and Paulownia wood that creates an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio.
• Ultra Glide Sintered Base: Premium 7000-grade sintered base with great wax absorption that is equal parts tough as nails and fast as hell.
• Carbon Stringer Enhanced: Lightweight stringers that deliver explosive pop, quick edge response, and amazing dampening at high speeds
• D.R.S.T Core Upgrade: Six hollow carbon cylinders, AKA Super-Tubes™ are placed alongside the rails of the snowboard, delivering extra energy directly to the edges. They significantly increasing pop, reinforce the boards camber, and reduce board weight. 

What size Bataleon Goliath should you buy?

The size of snowboard that you should buy is based upon lots of different factors. Two of the most important determining factors are rider weight and snowboard boot size. You can use the chart below to help you decide what size snowboard to buy. 

We recommend that you select a 'wide' snowboard if your boots are UK10.5 or larger.

• 153cm = 59-79 kg / 131-175 lbs
• 156cm = 65-85 kg / 144-188 lbs
• 159cm = 71-91 kg / 157-201 lbs
• 158cm Wide = 76-96 kg / 168-212 lbs
• 161cm Wide = 82-102 kg / 181-225 lbs
• 164cm Wide = 88-108 kg / 195-239 lbs
• 167cm Wide = 94-114 kg / 208-252+ lbs

• 153cm = 25.2cm
• 156cm = 25.4cm
• 159cm = 25.6cm
• 158cm Wide = 26.6cm
• 161cm Wide = 26.8cm
• 164cm Wide = 27.0cm
