Bataleon Goliath+ Snowboard 2027

The Goliath+ blends cutting-edge shaping with all-terrain versatility, starting with Bataleon’s signature 3BT™ Shape with SideKick. The uplifted sidebases in the nose and tail work with a flat centre to dramatically reduce edge catches, giving you a smoother, more forgiving ride without sacrificing performance. Turn initiation is fluid and catch-free, while the board still maintains a lively, responsive feel that encourages you to push harder across varied terrain.

Its directional twin shape strikes a near-perfect balance between freestyle freedom and all-mountain capability. With just a subtly longer nose (1cm) and a centred stance, it rides almost identically switch as it does regular, making it ideal for park laps and technical riding. At the same time, that slight directional bias gives you an edge when charging through fresh snow, offering a little more float and control when conditions get deeper.

The medium-stiff flex (7/10) gives the Goliath+ a powerful, stable feel underfoot. It holds well at higher speeds, resists washing out on heavy landings, and inspires confidence when riding aggressively. Paired with a medium camber profile, it delivers a responsive, ride that can be pushed hard without feeling overly demanding—striking a balance between precision and everyday usability.

Inside the Goliath+, you'll find a bunch of high-end tech and premium materials that produce these more advanced riding characteristics. A triax fibreglass laminate and Super Ultra Light Core keep things incredibly light while maintaining strength and snap. Carbon stringers and the D.R.S.T core upgrade inject explosive pop and channel energy directly to the edges, while AirRide™ Technology smooths out vibrations for a more controlled ride at speed. The addition of Aramid X-Ply enhances torsional stiffness for sharper edge control, and the nano speed sintered base ensures top-tier glide, making this one of the fastest and most responsive boards in its class.

Tech:

• 3BT™ Shape with SideKick: Bataleon's unique board design features a 3D snowboard base design where the side sections of the nose and tail are uplifted, while the centre base remains flat. This design minimises the risk of edge catches and produces smooth turn initiation while maintaining a lively, responsive feel.
• Directional Twin Shape, 0mm Setback: To the untrained eye, a 'directional twin' snowboard looks basically the same as a true twin, but look closer and you will see the nose is 1cm longer than the tail. This makes for a snowboard that is just as happy lapping the park as it is tearing up the freshies with the first lift.
• Flex - Medium (7/10): A firmer flex that is stable at speed and won't wash out at speed or on heavier landings from bigger jumps.
• Medium Camber: Sitting in the sweet spot, the Goliath+ can be ridden more aggressively than lower cambered snowboards but it's not a mega-gnarly camber that you can't take out on a hangover.
• Triax Laminate Glass: Three-way fibreglass weave which is light, strong and very responsive. 
• Super Ultra Light Core: Bataleon's lightest core, comprised of a 80/20 blend of Swiss Paulownia / Poplar woods - the ultimate in featherlight construction.
• Nano Speed Sintered Base: Produced using race grade ISO - SPORT 7000 P-Tex, this is Bataleon's fastest base and one of the fastest bases on the market.
  
• Carbon Stringer Enhanced: Lightweight stringers that deliver explosive pop, quick edge response, and amazing dampening at high speeds. 
• D.R.S.T Core Upgrade: Six hollow carbon cylinders, AKA Super-Tubes™ are placed alongside the rails of the snowboard, delivering extra energy directly to the edges. They significantly increasing pop, reinforce the boards camber, and reduce board weight. 
  
• AirRide™ Technology: Targeted channels in the woodcore are filled with urethane, designed to dampen vibrations and provide a smoother ride at high speeds.
• Aramid X-Ply: A synthetic fibre known for its strength and durability, aramid diamond weave is introduced as the top laminate and increases the snowboard’s torsional stiffness without adding extra weight.

What size Bataleon Goliath+ should you buy?

The size of snowboard that you should buy is based upon lots of different factors. Two of the most important determining factors are rider weight and snowboard boot size. You can use the chart below to help you decide what size snowboard to buy. 

We recommend that you select a 'wide' snowboard if your boots are UK10.5 or larger.

Recommended Rider Weight:

• 156cm = 65-85 kg / 144-188 lbs
• 159cm = 71-71 kg / 157-201 lbs
• 158cm Wide = 76-96 kg / 168-212 lbs
• 161cm Wide = 82-102 kg / 181-225 lbs
• 164cm Wide = 88-108 kg / 195-239

Snowboard Waist Width:

• 156cm = 25.4cm
• 159cm = 25.6cm
• 158cm Wide = 26.6cm
• 161cm Wide = 26.8cm
• 164cm Wide = 27.0cm
