You might not have heard of Amplid Snowboards yet, but trust us—you’ll want to get familiar. This is our first season carrying the brand, and we’re seriously impressed. The way these boards ride, the thought behind the brand, and the passion of the team behind it all have us fully on board. As with every brand we stock, we’ve tested the Amplid lineup ourselves and only brought in the models we truly believe will keep you hyped to ride.

Amplid has been quietly pushing snowboard innovation for over 20 years. Founded by former world champion and Burton R&D expert Peter Bauer, the brand blends deep industry knowledge with rider-driven design. Peter’s experience shows in every detail, from shape to construction, and he’s backed by a talented crew who test and fine-tune every prototype until it rides exactly right.

POP CAMBER

Engineered for precision and power, Pop Camber delivers unmatched edge hold and serious snap. Built for advanced riders who demand top-tier performance, this profile rewards effort with explosive energy—perfect for charging out of carves and boosting massive airs off transitions. It takes work, but the payoff is next-level.

DIRECTIONAL / CRUISE CAMBER

All-Mountain Power with a Laid-Back Feel. Think of it as Pop Camber’s more relaxed cousin—similar precision and energy, but with a smoother ride and better float. Cruise Camber delivers responsive edge control with a slightly mellowed profile, giving it a more natural, broken-in feel right from day one. On directional boards, there is a hint of early rise in the nose for effortless glide in deeper snow.

BBP CORE

Featherlight Strength, Engineered to Perform. Crafted with ultra-light Paulownia and Balsa, reinforced with strategic Birch placements for durability where it counts. Honeycomb inlays in the tip and tail cut even more weight, giving you a board that’s incredibly agile without compromising strength or response.

HOLLOW TECH CORE

Next-Level dampening. Engineered with resin-proof honeycomb inserts, this innovation cuts weight without compromising strength or flex. The result? Featherlight boards with ultra-damp tips and tails for a smoother, quieter ride—even in choppy conditions.

Hollow Tech: Precision Lightweight Engineering
Creating ultra-light snowboards without sacrificing performance is no easy feat. During extensive R&D, Amplid identified a common flaw in traditional honeycomb inserts—when epoxy resin seeps into the cells, it adds unwanted weight and reduces effectiveness. To overcome this, Amplid developed Hollow Tech: a resin-proof, precision-engineered solution that sets a new benchmark in core construction.

Each Hollow Tech insert is carefully sealed and pre-shaped to fit perfectly within the board’s profiled wood core. This seamless integration ensures a strong, lightweight structure without excess resin buildup. The result is a core that’s not only featherlight but also durable and responsive.

By minimizing swing weight while maintaining flex and strength, Hollow Tech delivers noticeable performance gains—especially in demanding terrain or when every gram counts. It’s lightweight construction done right, with zero compromises.

HEXO2 LITE TECHNOLOGY

Added Response. By placing honeycomb only in the tip and tail—not between the bindings—HEXO2 LITE trims unnecessary weight, reducing swing weight for quicker spins and boosting overall board responsiveness without compromising strength where you need it most.

(The clue is in the name) Using specially selected lightweight wood species, Amplid cores are cut, treated, and assembled with proprietary techniques exclusive to Amplid’s factory. The result? A strength-to-weight ratio so impressive, it borders on insanity.

Lightweight Reliability with Lasting Flex. Crafted from low-density Poplar, this core delivers the perfect balance of strength, durability, and lively flex. It’s a proven performer—and the go-to standard for dependable all-mountain riding..

Snowboard Geometry

ALL-TERRAIN TIPS
A smooth kick radius paired with a fuller tip shape enhances float in deep snow—without adding unnecessary swing weight.

FLOATATION TIPS
These ultra-wide, low-rise tips are built purely for lift in powder. They keep you surfing on top without dragging or slowing you down.

3D CRUST BUSTER NOSE
A convex nose shape that boosts glide and stability in variable, three-dimensional snow. Contact points remain active for sharp response and reliable edge hold.

BEZIÈR CURVES
Instead of traditional radii, Amplid design their sidecuts and nose shapes using Beziér curves. This allows them to have precise control over the board’s flex profile, creating a smoother, more balanced ride.

THICK CUT
Thicker core sections in the tip and tail bring multiple benefits: a flex pattern that accommodates a broader range of rider body types, reduced chatter, and targeted stiffness where it matters. The added structure enhances float, improves stability, and delivers tighter control in deep snow.

Glass & Carbon

FULL CARBON JACKET
This is Amplid’s most premium fiber laminate—and for good reason. Carbon’s incredible tensile strength-to-weight ratio means they can use ultra-thin, nearly weightless layers while maintaining the desired flex. The result? A ride that’s incredibly lively, responsive, and unlike anything else.

ZERO 90 CARBON
New Zero 90 Carbon layup takes precision to the next level. By optimizing carbon orientation, it improves edge hold, power transfer, and responsiveness—all while shaving off weight. Expect razor-sharp control with a smooth, balanced ride.

QUADRAX GLASS
This advanced laminate combines traditional biax glass with added rovings set at +/- 30° angles. It subtly boosts torsional stiffness, giving you better control, while maintaining a smooth and forgiving board feel.

BIAX GLASS
Biaxial glass offers the perfect mix of playfulness and performance. It’s light, lively, and responsive—making your board fun and agile without sacrificing control.

IMPACT PADS
Strategically placed laser-cut hardglass plates are embedded beneath the bindings to protect the core from compression damage. Say goodbye to unsightly binding dents.

PONTOON BEAMS
Carbon reinforcements under the bindings that increase edge grip and overall stability. They fine-tune performance without making the board overly stiff, so you still get that smooth flex you love.

BASALT SUSPENSION STRIPS
Positioned in a V-shape from contact points to the bindings, these narrow basalt fabric bands absorb chatter and reduce fatigue. The result is a damp, controlled ride with a luxurious, “Rolls Royce” feel underfoot.

CARBON POP BAND
A slim strip of unidirectional carbon running tip-to-tail through the board’s core centerline. It adds snappy pop and preserves flex memory—without affecting torsional flexibility,

SINTERED 7 HD BASE
Amplid’s ultra-high density sintered base glides incredibly fast in all snow conditions. Its exceptional hardness makes it highly resistant to damage, ensuring long-lasting performance.

SINTERED 7 BASE
A top-tier sintered base that soaks up wax quickly and outpaces your riding buddies with ease. Prepare to be the one waiting at the lift.

EXTRUDED 4 BASE
If you didn’t know better, you’d think this base was sintered. Amplid’s advanced extruded base material delivers impressive glide and rarely requires waxing.

SHRED READY
We don’t just sell you a great board and leave tuning to someone else. Every ride comes perfectly tuned, ready to deliver the best performance possible.

RUST GUARD
Stainless steel is embedded in the tail edge to prevent rust and avoid delamination issues. This feature enhances durability while maintaining traditional steel elsewhere for the perfect balance of flexibility, tunability, and performance.

NANO COATING
Used in Amplid’s carbon touring gear, this ultra-thin polyamide Nano Film replaces conventional topsheets, offering excellent protection and improved snow-shedding—while cutting weight by 50%.

SPLIT TUNE
Edges at the tip and tail are slightly rounded beyond the effective edge. This blunting reduces chipping on the topsheet caused by touring.

KNUCKLE SANDWICH
Our toughest construction method. Knuckle Sandwich replaces standard materials in damage-prone areas with extra-durable alternatives, making these boards built to last.

DAMPENING

Antiphase™: Next-Gen Vibration Damping
Developed in-house by Amplid, Antiphase™ is a cutting-edge vibration reduction technology that takes board stability to the next level. Unlike traditional dampening systems that rely on rubber elastomers, Antiphase™ uses a specially engineered, multi-directional composite layer bonded to a non-Newtonian material.

Strategically positioned between the bindings and the tips, this advanced layer disrupts the board’s natural vibration frequencies—eliminating the buildup that typically causes tip chatter. The result? A smoother, more controlled ride, especially at high speeds or in variable snow conditions.
