Designed for backcountry adventures and all-day mountain missions, this technical snow backpack combines durable, sustainable construction with rider-focused functionality. Made from 100% recycled 600D polyester diamond ripstop and 100% recycled 600D coated polyester, it offers dependable durability while reducing environmental impact. Integrated RECCO® technology provides an added layer of safety by making the wearer searchable by professional rescue teams in emergency situations.
Built for versatility, the pack features multiple carry options, including vertical or horizontal snowboard carry and a deployable diagonal ski or splitboard carry system, allowing you to transport equipment securely across varying terrain. A breathable mesh padded back panel and ergonomic padded shoulder straps ensure lasting comfort, while the 25 mm webbing hip belt with supportive wings provides stability during demanding ascents and descents. The removable sternum strap includes an integrated rescue whistle for added safety on the mountain.
Thoughtfully organised storage includes dedicated sleeves for snow tools, an exterior shovel blade carry system, a large fleece-lined goggle pocket to protect your eyewear, and an external quick-stash pocket for frequently accessed essentials. DAKINE
Dakine is one of the most established brands in the snow and surf world, founded back in 1979 on Maui’s North Shore. Despite being around for decades, whenever someone comes into the shop asking for the brand, they’re never quite sure how to pronounce it 😂.
For the record, the name Dakine comes from the Hawaiian phrase “da kine”, which roughly translates to “the thing” or “the best.” It’s a nod to the brand’s island roots and laid-back vibe.
