Jones Hovercraft 2.0 Snowboard 2026

The Jones Hovercraft 2.0 is a powerful and versatile directional freeride snowboard that excels in deep powder, choppy snow and hardpack conditions. Designed for aggressive all-terrain riding, it features a tapered directional shape with a floaty spoon nose, camber underfoot and a long sidecut, delivering exceptional float, edge grip and stability at speed. Built with a medium-stiff flex ideal for confident riders, the board offers fluid yet commanding performance. Its Re‑Up™ construction incorporates recycled materials from old snowboards, showcasing Jones’s commitment to sustainability.

The base features a high-performance Sintered 8000 material paired with a 3D Contour Base in the tail—reducing drag, smoothing turn initiation and enhancing glide speed. Traction Tech serrated edges provide added grip on icy terrain, while Wend natural wax gives the board a fast ride straight out of the factory.

While it offers more playful tolerance than a pure hardcore charger, the Hovercraft 2.0 still delivers serious power and precision, carving through any terrain with ease.

Tech:

• Directional Shape: Enhances float in powder, provides stability at speed, and allows for powerful turns, especially when riding forward. While not optimal for switch riding, they excel in diverse conditions like powder, groomers, and variable terrain.
• Camber Profile: A camber dominant profile that’s enhanced with rocker in the nose and little to no rocker in the tail. Nose rocker improves float and manoeuvrability in deep snow, while camber from the front binding through the tail offers solid edge grip, precise response and confidence inspiring stability.
• 3D Contour Base 3.0: Freeride focused 3D Contour Base featuring 7mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 0 to 7mm of spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts just before contact point.
• Traction Tech Edges: Like a serrated knife slicing into the snow, Traction Tech improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the running length of your board.
• Flex: Happy-Medium (3/5).
• Sintered 8000 Base: New super durable material made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and carbon. Base is easily repairable, highly wax absorbent and wicked fast.
• Wend Natural Wax: Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with WEND natural wax.
• Float Pack Inserts: Extra set of inserts allows super setback stance for deep pow days.
• Ultra Core: Ultralight dual density wood core made primarily out of responsibly harvested Paulownia with pockets of Poplar that offers standard setting durability, pop and response.
• Flax Topsheet: Carbon neutral flax fibre topsheet layer that’s abrasion resistant and absorbs chatter in rough snow.
• Belt Ground Finish & Factory Tuned: All Jones Snowboards are factory de-tuned at the tip and tail so you can go right from the shop to the mountain.
• Re-Up Stringer: Aerospace-grade repurposed carbon stringers that are engineered to enhance board response, suck up chatter and deliver exceptional pop.

The Jones Hovercraft 2.0 snowboard has a standard binding insert pattern and is compatible with the majority of Snowboard bindings on the market (non Burton EST Bindings).
