Jones Aviator 2.0 Snowboard 2026

Historically we did not stock this board as we never really understood where it sat in the line and why anyone would choose it over the best selling Jones Mountain Twin. This revised 2.0 version of the Aviator is a new beast and is the Jones board you should buy if you are looking for a true All-Mountain snowboard.

Unlike the Mountain Twin, the Aviator has a ‘True Camber’ profile so it offers extremely good edge hold even on the steepest of slopes. It’s a directional twin with a slightly set-back stance so although it’s easy enough to ride switch if you spend 70% + of your time riding in your normal direction the shape is perfect for you.

The ‘3D Contour Base 2.0’ features 4mm spoon bevel in the nose and 4mm spoon bevel in the tail which makes every run smoother and every turn more effortless by reducing the drag of the board tips. 3D Contour Bases enhance glide and improve float helping you ride faster and with better flow (it also helps to reduce the chance of edge catch too!)

The base is super fast and the Triax Fiberglass with BComp Carbon / Flax stringers offer the perfect performance balance and gives the Aviator 2.0 a nice responsive feel. Koroyd in the nose provides excellent dampening and reduces chatter in harder conditions.

It’s fairly stiff at a rating of 8/10 so not advisable for new riders but any intermediate to advanced rider who wants a real all-mountain snowboard should give this snowboard a closer look!

The Jones Aviator snowboard has a standard binding insert pattern and is compatible with the majority of Snowboard bindings on the market (non Burton EST Bindings).
