686 Size Guide
686 Upton Insulated Anorak Women's Jacket
Designed to keep you warm, dry, and fully mobile in demanding winter conditions, this women's snowboard jacket combines technical performance with thoughtful design. Featuring 2-Layer infiDRY® 10K fabric with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish, it's built to withstand wet snow while remaining breathable. Mapped infiLOFT® 40g insulation across the body, sleeves, and hood delivers low-profile warmth where you need it most. Critically taped Bemis® seams help seal out moisture, and the Air-Flo™ underarm vents and side zipper with dual-slider allow for customized ventilation when you're pushing your limits on the hill.
With a modern women's fit and rider-driven features, this jacket includes an adjustable helmet-compatible hood, a powder skirt, and the innovative Pant Jacket Connect™ and Hood Link systems for seamless snow protection. Inner Lycra wrist gaiters transform into mitts for added warmth, while adjustable Death Grip™ Velcro cuffs and a hem cinch ensure a dialed-in fit. Convenient storage comes in the form of five total pockets, including a Velcro pass pocket with key clip, internal audio pocket, and hand pockets with key clip and headphone loop organization. Whether you're charging park laps or chasing powder, this jacket is built to move with you all season long.

686
Founded in 1992 by Michael Akira West, 686 is a California-based snowboard outerwear and apparel brand known for its commitment to technical innovation, performance, and urban-inspired design. Drawing from West's background in Southern California skate and snow culture, 686 was created to bridge the gap between functional mountain gear and progressive streetwear aesthetics.
The brand has built a reputation for high-quality technical outerwear, most notably its GLCR® series, which is designed for all-conditions performance in backcountry and resort environments. Products like the 686 GLCR GORE-TEX® Jacket and the SMARTY® 3-in-1 Cargo Pant have become staples among snowboarders seeking durability, adaptability, and weather protection. 686 was also one of the first to integrate BOA® technology into outerwear, offering precision fit adjustments in jackets and pants.
Sustainability is increasingly central to 686’s mission, with a growing number of garments made using recycled materials and bluesign®-approved fabrics. The brand's attention to fit, detail, and rider-driven functionality has earned it respect across both freeride and freestyle communities.
