The Rome Katana AW FASE is a premium binding crafted in partnership with pro rider Ståle Sandbech, pushing innovation to new heights. Built on the high-performance Katana AW platform and equipped with the groundbreaking FASE® quick-entry system, it delivers a powerful blend of responsiveness, low weight and unmatched ease of use. The FASE® intuitive design automatically closes as the boot enters the binding and opens when it’s time to unstrap. The AutoBack also folds flat for skating, chairlifts and storage.

The 2027 Katana AW FASE offers exceptional control and support for riders who demand precision. It’s forged aluminium AsymWrap chassis provides direct energy transfer, while the FASE™ rear-entry design allows ultra-fast, one-handed step-in convenience. 2° canted Slider Footbeds and integrated shock absorption ensure lasting comfort during long or aggressive sessions.

The bindings itself is an AsymWrap binding that has a medium/stiff flex and is designed to tackle the whole mountain with precision while allowing for a more tweakable ride thanks to the asymmetrical baseplate. It has a slightly mellow side-to-side flex and a surfy, relaxed feel so great for freestyle riding too.

• PivotMount Strap Connector: A Rome-exclusive binding innovation, PivotMounts allow you to adjust the position of the ankle strap on your boot with 8 different locations per side of the strap; the higher the strap sits, the more locked-in and powerful the feel; the lower the strap sits, the more playful and surfier the ride.
• Kink Ladders: Designed to allow riders to choose from two different ankle strap positions on the boot; ride it up for a more powerful feel or drop it low for a looser ride.
