Burton Counterbalance Snowboard 2026
The Burton Counterbalance Snowboard is your all-in-one solution for all-mountain riding. It’s playful and poppy for side hits, confident in powder, and smooth through the park — a true quiver killer. Its directional shape and camber profile, with a rockered nose, give you solid edge control and plenty of float when the snow gets deep.
Whether you're carving groomers or slashing through fresh stashes, the balanced flex keeps everything feeling responsive and controlled. Built with a lightweight Super Fly® 700G wood core and 45° Carbon Highlights, the Counterbalance delivers a lively, snappy ride without feeling too stiff. It’s powerful when you want it, but easy to handle all day long. Plus, the Channel® mounting system works with all major bindings, so you can fine-tune your stance exactly how you like it. This board is all about having fun across the whole mountain, no matter the conditions.
Tech:
- Directional Camber Bend: A blend of camber under both feet and a rockered nose maintains stability through variable conditions and plenty of float in soft snow.
- All Mountain Directional Shape: Its directional shape and flex keep you carving and slashing with total control.
- Super Fly II™ 700G Core: 700G Core is a dual-species wood core that is loaded with pop and reduces overall weight without limiting performance.
- Dualzone™ EGD™: Dualzone EGD engineered wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones perpendicular to the core for more edge hold, response and strength.
- 45° Carbon Highlights Fibreglass: 45° Carbon Highlights from tip to tail deliver snappy pop without the stiff side effects.
- Sintered WFO: Sintered WFO base infuses specially formulated wax deep into the pores of the extra absorbent, high density recycled sintered material, making it ultra durable for riding all season in any condition.
- Frostbite Edges: They feature small, localised bumps or extensions of the edge underneath the bindings, creating additional contact points with the snow. This design enhances edge hold, especially in icy conditions, making the board more stable and responsive.
- Pro-Tip: The nose and tail have been refined to reduce weight and improve handling.
- Super Sap® Epoxy: Super Sap® is gentler on the planet but still delivers the same strength and durability that Burton demand when building boards.
- Infinite Ride™: With Infinite Ride, your board will maintain it’s flex, pop and feel from day one, season after season.
- Artist: Sophie Sellstrom / Dylan West.
- Graphic: Hallucinate.
- The Channel®: The Channel® Board Mount is compatible with all major bindings and lets you dial in the stance exactly the way you like it.
- Personality: 5-8 (Medium - Aggressive).
- Terrain: Park: 6/10, All-Mountain: 8/10, Powder: 7/10.
