Dakine Snowboard Wrist Guards
Wrist guards are one of the smartest pieces of protection you can wear when snowboarding. Since most riders instinctively put their hands out to break a fall, the wrists take a lot of impact—making wrist sprains and fractures the number one snowboarding injury. Wrist guards absorb that impact and spread it out, helping prevent breaks, sprains, and painful recoveries that can cut your season short.
They’re especially helpful for beginners, park riders, and anyone still learning new tricks, since falling is part of the process. By wearing wrist guards, you’re not just protecting your wrists—you’re giving yourself the confidence to ride harder and progress faster, with less chance of ending up in a cast.
- Low Profile Design for use Inside Gloves*
- Lightweight Internal Aluminium Stay
- Neoprene Stretch Body for Maximum Comfort
- Adjustable Hook and Loop Wrist Cinch
For these wrist guards to be able to fit underneath your glove, it's recommended that you have a 'Gauntlet' Style (over) glove as as they are really hard to get under short (or under) gloves. Drop us a message if you need more fitting advice.

DAKINE
Dakine is one of the most established brands in the snow and surf world, founded back in 1979 on Maui’s North Shore. Despite being around for decades, whenever someone comes into the shop asking for the brand, they’re never quite sure how to pronounce it 😂.
For the record, the name Dakine comes from the Hawaiian phrase “da kine”, which roughly translates to “the thing” or “the best.” It’s a nod to the brand’s island roots and laid-back vibe.
Dakine produces a wide range of high-quality snowboard accessories—but if you’re looking for standouts, check out their bags, gloves, and tuning tools.
