We've been riding FASE for a couple if winters now, and we're convinced this is where all two-strap bindings are heading. Big claim, we know — but spend even a day in them and you'll get it.

The toe strap is locked in place, so you set it once and never touch it again. That alone saves you a lot of time faffing about at the lift. There's a long ankle ladder that stays connected to the ankle ratchet, so you can open and close the whole thing one-hand, you don't need to use both hands to feed in the ladder, which doesn''t seem like a big deal but trust us - it saves a lot of energy.

Then there's the AutoBack hi-back: it snaps up automatically the second your boot's in, and drops back down when you un-ratchet and step out. No reaching down to kick it up yourself.

End result: Quicker, easier and no compromise on how they ride. Once you've used a set of FASE, going back to regular strap bindings feels like hard work!
