A First Look

Burton Snowboards 2027

🔥 The biggest name in snowboarding is coming in hot for winter 26/27 🔥

Burton Process Camber

The Burton Process has been in the line for years, but now for 2027, it features a brand new core design that focuses on both weight reduction and producing a poppier, lively feel.

Upgraded with a new core that has continuous aspen stringers that run tip to tail, and 'Gummy' laminates under the feet to help dampen vibrations, this is a new Process unlike any previous version.

A new digressive sidecut, that has a tighter radius between the bindings and then mellows out towards the tip and tail. It grips on turning, is more catch free on take offs and won't catch you out as much on rails.

If you want an all-mountain / freestyle snowboard that's rides the same switch as it does regular then the new Burton Process is totally worth a look.

Burton Custom Camber

Perhaps the best known snowboard on the market, the Burton Custom is a directional snowboard that is perfect for riders who want one board to dominate the whole mountain.

It's poppy, powerful, and built to handle anything the mountain throws at it. With a twin flex and full camber profile, it’s made for more experienced riders who want precision and energy on every turn. Whether you're carving groomers, hitting side hits, or exploring variable terrain, this board delivers.

First released back in 1996, the Burton Custom has stayed on top by constantly evolving, blending classic design with modern tech for a lightweight, versatile ride. The camber version is a favorite among Burton’s pro team for its stability and edge control, making it ideal for powerful turns and big hits. Its directional shape gives it that all-mountain feel, while the twin flex keeps it balanced whether you're riding regular or switch.

Burton Rewind Camber

The Burton Rewind is a true twin snowboard built for freestyle fun with serious pop. Designed for riders who like to focus on freestyle, it's super forgiving, with a skate-like feel. It's ultra-flexy, and perfect for progression. The Pure Pop Camber profile adds extra snap and playfulness, while the Filet-O-Flex design keeps the board soft and stable — so you get all the flex without losing grip or control.

Whether you're riding regular or switch, the symmetrical shape and flex keep things balanced for smooth spins and solid landings. It's torsionally soft for lighter riders but still packs the power and response you need to push your riding. Plus, the Channel® mounting system works with all major bindings and lets you fine-tune your stance exactly how you want it. The Rewind is playful, poppy, and always ready for a session.

So, which one should you pick?

We've chosen to stock these four Burton snowboards as they cover a wide range of riding styles. If you want to hit up the park and focus on rails and kickers then you'll maybe want to consider the Rewind or the Process. Both are true twins, the Rewind is softer and so a little easier to press and butter. The Process, with its firmer flex is just as happy cruising the whole mountain as it is hitting the park. If you are more freeride focused and want a board that excels in the powder as well as charging the piste then the Hometown Hero would be a great option. Last but certainly not least, if you want a board that kinda does it all then the Burton Custom is one to consider!

  • Burton Process: Freestyle / All-Mountain
  • Burton Custom: All-Mountain
  • Burton Rewind: Freestyle/Jib
  • Burton Hometown Hero: Freeride / All-Mountain
