Bataleon 2027

Are they any good?

For more than 20 years, Bataleon has been doing things differently, developing distinctive snowboard shapes built around its innovative 3BT™ (Triple Base Technology). The result is a range of boards designed to make snowboarding smoother, more forgiving and, above all, more fun.

Yes, they are good, damn good. The line is pretty extensive and there is a suitable model for everyone.

Let's take a look at some of our best selling models...

Bataleon Stereo Snowboard 2027 - The Snowboard Shop

New Model - Bataleon Stereo

Twin Outline Shape, Twin Contact Shape, 0mm Setback

The Bataleon Stereo makes its debut for 2027, developed with input from Ethan Morgan and Halldór Helgason. Everything about the Stereo is centred around freestyle freedom, with a true twin outline, twin contact profile and a completely centred 0mm setback giving it an identical feel in either direction. Whether you're riding regular or switch, the board stays balanced and predictable underfoot.

Built for riders who see the whole mountain as a playground, the Stereo is equally at home lapping the park, locking into rails or getting creative with side hits and natural features. Its playful, symmetrical character makes it a great choice for progressing your freestyle riding and taking tricks in either direction.

The Iconic - Bataleon Evil Twin

Park / Freestyle Snowboard

The Bataleon Evil Twin is one of the most iconic boards in the Bataleon collection and remains their best-selling twin. With a fully centred true twin shape, it's built for riders who love park laps but want a freestyle board that's just as much fun getting creative across the rest of the mountain. Bataleon's 3BT™ shaping helps reduce edge catches, giving you a little extra forgiveness when spins don't quite go to plan and making the board feel playful and confidence-inspiring.

The medium flex hits a great sweet spot: soft enough for presses, butters and jibbing without becoming unstable when you pick up speed. Triax fibreglass combined with carbon reinforcement around the bindings adds response and delivers quick edge-to-edge transitions, while the high-grade sintered base keeps the Evil Twin running fast. It's a proven all-mountain freestyle board that's playful when you want it to be, but still has enough performance to charge beyond the park.

Top Selling - Bataleon Goliath

OUR BEST SELLING ALL-MOUNTAIN SNOWBOARD

The Bataleon Goliath has been our best-selling snowboard for the past few seasons, and it's easy to see why. It's a proper do-it-all, all-mountain snowboard, combining a versatile medium flex with enough response for experienced riders while remaining accessible for progressing intermediates. From fast groomers and carving to park laps and side hits, the Goliath is designed to handle a bit of everything.

Its directional twin shape brings together freestyle versatility and all-mountain performance. A slightly longer nose adds some extra capability when you venture into softer snow, while the centred 0mm setback keeps the board balanced and comfortable riding switch. The result is a snowboard you can take pretty much anywhere – playful enough to get creative around the mountain, but with the stability and performance to step things up when you want to ride harder and faster.

Bataleon Whatever Snowboard 2027 - The Snowboard Shop

The Best Selling - Bataleon Whatever

Unisex, All-Mountain Freestyle snowboard

The Bataleon Whatever is a versatile, mid-flex snowboard built for riders who want one board to do it all. From carving groomers and floating through powder to lapping the park, the Whatever delivers a playful, confidence-inspiring ride that’s ready for any terrain—just as the name suggests.

At the heart of its easy-going performance is Bataleon’s 3BT™ Shape with SideKick. Featuring a flat centre base with uplifted sidebases in the nose and tail, this innovative profile significantly reduces the chance of edge catches while maintaining smooth, predictable handling. Turn initiation feels effortless and forgiving, making progression easier, while the board retains plenty of pop and responsiveness for pressing, spinning, and getting creative anywhere on the mountain. Whether you're pushing your freestyle riding or simply looking for a fun, do-it-all snowboard, the Whatever lives up to its name.

women's Bataleon Push Up

Catch free, All-Mountain Snowboard

The Bataleon Push Up is built to help riders progress while still delivering plenty of performance as your riding develops. Its directional twin shape makes it a versatile choice for exploring the whole mountain, with a slightly longer nose helping out in softer snow while the centred 0mm setback keeps things balanced when riding switch. Whether you're carving pistes, hitting side hits, venturing into the park or searching for fresh snow, the Push Up feels playful, predictable and confidence-inspiring.

Bataleon's 3BT™ with SideKick adds uplift to the sidebases around the nose and tail, helping the board roll smoothly into turns while making it much harder to accidentally catch an edge. Underneath, a full-length camber profile provides the grip, pop and stability needed as speeds increase. It's a great combination of forgiveness and performance, making the Push Up ideal for riders looking for a board they can continue to progress on rather than quickly outgrow.

Kids Evil Teen

A mini evil twin!

The Bataleon Evil Teen brings the proven freestyle DNA of the iconic Evil Twin to younger riders. Its true twin shape and completely centred stance give it the same balanced feel in either direction, making it ideal for kids progressing in the park, learning to ride switch or simply getting creative with side hits, spins and tricks around the mountain.

One particularly cool thing about the Evil Teen is that it comes in a wide version. Kids' feet don't always grow at the same rate as the rest of them – something we've experienced ourselves – and finding a youth board wide enough for bigger boots can be surprisingly difficult. The Evil Teen Wide provides that extra platform underfoot, helping reduce unwanted toe and heel drag without forcing a young rider onto an oversized adult board.

Bataleon's 3BT™ (Triple Base Technology) also makes the Evil Teen particularly forgiving. By lifting the sidebases around the contact areas, there's less chance of unexpectedly catching an edge, giving younger riders more confidence when attempting boxes, jumps, butters and their first spins. It's a proper performance snowboard designed to help progressing kids push their riding rather than hold them back.

FASE BINDINGS 2027

We literally could not get enough of these in stock last season as demand well out-stripped supply. We think this season they will be equally as popular!

We've been riding FASE for a couple if winters now, and we're convinced this is where all two-strap bindings are heading. Big claim, we know — but spend even a day in them and you'll get it.

The toe strap is locked in place, so you set it once and never touch it again. That alone saves you a lot of time faffing about at the lift. There's a long ankle ladder that stays connected to the ankle ratchet, so you can open and close the whole thing one-hand, you don't need to use both hands to feed in the ladder, which doesn''t seem like a big deal but trust us - it saves a lot of energy.

Then there's the AutoBack hi-back: it snaps up automatically the second your boot's in, and drops back down when you un-ratchet and step out. No reaching down to kick it up yourself.

End result: Quicker, easier and no compromise on how they ride. Once you've used a set of FASE, going back to regular strap bindings feels like hard work!

Bataleon Boots

Bataleon have been making boots for a few years now and and they have a good range of both lace and BOA® options. For 2027, we focus on one model which is available in a mens and a women's version - the Bataleon Rave.

The 2027 Bataleon Rave BOA Snowboard Boot combines a precise, supportive fit with the comfort needed for long days on the mountain. The Dual BOA® Fit System uses the latest H5 and M+2 configuration, allowing quick and accurate adjustment across different areas of the boot. The H5 Coiler's multi-directional operation makes fine-tuning the fit simple, while the Pressure Relief Tongue helps distribute pressure more evenly and keeps the flex feeling smooth and consistent.

A separate articulating cuff allows the upper and lower sections of the boot to move more naturally without excessive distortion as you flex. Heel hold is taken care of by Bataleon's External HeelLock and Internal Ankle Harness, working together to keep your foot securely positioned and minimise unwanted heel lift. An Injected Spine adds structure and support through the back of the boot, while the Rubber Toe Cap provides extra protection and durability.

Underfoot, the SureGrip outsole delivers dependable traction when you're walking around on snow and ice, backed up by a Critical Foam midsole and Dual Density insole for cushioning and support. Inside you'll find Bataleon's heat-mouldable P2 Premium Liner, which can be shaped around your foot for a more personalised fit, giving the Rave BOA a comfortable, locked-in feel that's ready for everything from cruising groomers to harder all-mountain riding.
